Vision Ladies Club supports Children’s Ward at Ridge Hospital

The Vision Ladies Club of World Vision-Ghana, has presented an amount of GH¢ 650, hospital equipment and assorted items worth $3,000 to the Children’s Ward of Ridge Regional Hospital in Accra.

The items include Aircare Endotracheal tube, trash bag, plastic containers for medical use, stethoscopes, plastic bracelets, children’s blankets and furniture.

Mrs Evelyn Nsiah, President of the Club, who presented the items said the donation was in response to a request made by the authorities of the ward for the upkeep of the patients.

She promised to continue supporting the ward since children were the focus of World Vision-Ghana.

Dr. Nana Sereboe, Head of Department, Child Health-Ridge Hospital, who received the items thanked the club for their support, and appealed to other organisations to support the hospital since government alone cannot provide quality health delivery in the country.

The club was formed in 1985 to support vulnerable women and children in society.**
