Vision FC Plot Midfield Battle Plan To Unsettle Hearts Of Oak On Saturday Clash

Vision FC assistant coach Burton Asare Wilson says his side has mapped out a targeted strategy to disrupt Hearts of Oak’s rhythm when the two teams face off in their Matchday 12 encounter at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium on Saturday.

Both teams come into the game in search of renewed stability, having managed just one win each in their last five league matches. Hearts of Oak remain four points ahead of the Premier League newcomers, but recent inconsistency has left the Phobians vulnerable.

Speaking ahead of the match, Asare Wilson identified Hearts’ structure, particularly their midfield as the core of their threat.
“When you observe Accra Hearts of Oak closely, their strength is in their goalkeeper and the three men in the middle,” he said.

To counter that, Vision FC have crafted a plan aimed at disrupting control in those key areas.
“We have planned to counter the three in the middle. We will make sure to overload that space, occupy the half-spaces, and apply man-oriented pressing to neutralise them,” he explained.

With both sides looking to steady their campaigns, Saturday’s clash promises an intense tactical contest. Kick-off is scheduled for 16:00 GMT, with Vision FC hoping their detailed approach can deliver a vital result.
