Visa fraudster wanted by Police

The Adjabeng Magistrate Court has issued a warrant for the immediate arrest of one Irene Akosua Gbesemete.

The lady is reportedly fair in complexion and said to be a secretary to Ekobons Financial Company. She allegedly collected an amount of GHC90,000 from one Boachie Dennis and five others at Nungua, a suburb of Accra, under the pretext of assisting them to acquire visas to travel to Ireland.

After receipt of the money, Irene Akosua Gbesemete allegedly went into hiding and has since not been seen.

She is believed to be hiding at Kasoa in the Central Region; Somanya or Dodowa, Eastern and Greater Accra Region respectively.

According to the police, anybody with information of her whereabouts can contact the number 0264285156 or the nearest police station.
