A man claiming to be the head of the 10 Virgin Pastors Association has sent Ghana into a frenzy after an interview with him emerged online.
Apostle Job Antwi said in the interview with Joy News that because he has not slept with any woman before, he believes he has direct access to God and will not have to pray through Jesus Christ like most Christians.
So far, 10 pastors make up the group and its aim is to form a pure prayer circle consisting of virgins to pray for peace in Ghana as the elections draw nearer.
Apostle Antwi explained that it takes a lot of scrutiny to be able to join the Virgin Pastors Association to avoid tarnishing the purity of the group.
When challenged that merely asking if a person is a virgin is not proof enough of the state, Apostle Antwi said prospective members are required to swear with the bible and bestow a curse upon themselves should their claim of being virgins be a lie.
He however admitted that although he is a virgin, he has been involved in sexual acts such as kissing and wakes up every morning to an erection.
He reiterated that he will only have sex after marriage; hopefully to his fiancee of 8 months.
