Violence can’t resolve political disputes – Nana Addo

New Patriotic Party 2016 Presidential Candidate, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has condemned violence as an option to resolving political disputes.

Speaking at the final funeral rite [Adua] of the late Adams Mahama in Bolgatanga at Jubilee Park, Nana Addo appealed to his party supporters to tolerate each other and always resolve political disputes amicably.

“I make a heartfelt appeal to all of us to recognize and accept that violence cannot and should not be the manner of resolving political disputes in our country.

“…What is more, my friends, the concept of an eye for an eye in dealing with wrongs, will leave all of us blind,” he said.

To Nana Addo, the end results of political intolerance and bigotry is chaos- a situation he would never want to happen because he stands for peace.
