Vigilantism: Ghana on a time bomb – Nketia

General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia has said that vigilantism needs to be curbed immediately else it will lead to massive destruction of the country.

According to him, vigilantism is taking the country on the path of troubled countries hence the need to arrest the situation before it degenerates further.

He cited the attack on him on the Kumasi Accra Highway some months back, which has become a worthless case because the security apparatus are unable to take action despite the numerous evidence he has presented.

According to him, the signs are evident of a troubled future if the trend continues.

He was speaking at a press conference on Thursday, November 30 after his return from the Socialist International forum in Barcelona, Spain, where leftist parties across the world met to deliberate on ways to address the global right takeover in governance.
