Victor Smith cautions Rawlings

; do not harass Mahama

Eastern Regional Minister, Mr. Victor Emmanuel Smith has sounded a strong warning to his former boss, Jerry John Rawlings not to harass President Mahama and his government like he did to the late President Mills.

According to him, the founder of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) should use the appropriate channel in the NDC party to address any grievances he may have with President Mahama and his government officials.

Speaking in an interview with Accra based Citi Fm on Friday, Mr. Smith who was once Spokesperson for Mr. Rawlings asked him not to pretend he knows it all in Ghana’s politics.

“I will only pray and hope that he doesn’t engage us in what happened in the last four years; Taking on and literally harassing government. I really pray and hope that it wouldn’t happen with the Mahama administration” he added.

Mr. Rawlings was one of late President Mills’ harshest critics calling his government weak and his Ministers names over what he described as lost of party’s ideologies.
