Vice-President Mills leads delegation to US

The Vice-President, Professor John Atta Mills, left Accra last night for the United States on a follow up to President Bill Clinton’s visit to Ghana last March. Prof. Mills was accompanied by a 27-man delegation, which included Mr Fred Ohene Kena, Minister of Mines and Energy, Mr Edward Salia, Minister of Roads and Transport, Mr Ekow Spio-Garbrah, Minister of Communications and Dr Mohamed Ibn Chambas, Deputy Minister of Education. Also on the team were Mr Victor Selormey, Deputy Minister of Finance, Mr Tsatsu Tsikata, Chief Executive of the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation, Dr S. K. Dapaah, Chief Director of the Ministry of Food and Agriculture and Mr Kwesi Abeasi, Chief Executive of the Private Enterprise Foundation. They will be away for 10 days.
