Vice President leaves for Cuba

Accra, March 12, GNA – Vice President John Dramani Mahama is expected to leave Accra on Sunday, March 16 to Havana, Cuba at the invitation of Esteban Laz Fernandez, the Cuban Leader.

A statement signed by Mr John Jinapor, Spokesperson for the Vice President said he would lead a government delegation to hold bilateral discussions on all the sectors of development.

The statement said during his week-long stay in the Cuban capital, the Vice President would also explore avenues of striking governmental agreements that would enhance the development of the country. Vice President Mahama is expected back on Friday, March 19, 2011.
