Vice President leaves for China

Vice President John Dramani Mahama is leading a government delegation to China to deliver a special message from President John Evans Atta Mills to President Hu Jintao.

Apart from the message, Vice President Mahama would also superintend over the signing of the subsidiary agreement under the China Development Bank Master Facility Agreement.

A statement signed by Mr John Jinapor, spokesperson for the Vice President, said he would also hold high level discussion with China Development Bank on the operational framework for the disbursement of the bank’s loan granted to Ghana.

The statement added that, Vice President Mahama, would also hold discussions with the Management of China EXIM Bank and further explore ways to deepen Ghana’s economic relations with the Bank.

Vice President Mahama is expected back home on Wednesday, April 18.**
