Vetting Highlights: How arrogant was Agric. Minister-Designate, Owusu Afriyie Akoto?

A third batch of President Akufo-Addo’s ministerial appointees appeared before the Appointments Committee on Tuesday January 24 for vetting.

Tuesday’s vetting saw Minister-designate for Agriculture, Dr. Owusu Afrihyie Akoto, reiterate the NPP’s resolve to revamp the Agric. sector in the next four years.

His approach to some of the questions thrown at him by Members of the committee has however generated controversy with several Ghanaians describing his posturing at the vetting committee as cantankerous and arrogant.
