Veteran Kumasi-based journalist dead

Wofa Yaw Aduse-Poku, a renowned and veteran Journalist in the Ashanti Region has been reported dead.

Wofa Yaw Aduse-Poku as known, died on Friday morning at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital where he was on admission responding to treatment.

He has been missing from the media circles for years as a result of old age and failing health according to close sources.

Wofa Yaw Aduse-Poku is a household name in the media, who came into the limelight for his local radio programmes first on Garden City Radio, moved to Kapital and to Kessben FM before he went on voluntary retirement.

He can be remembered for his education on the Asante Culture and tradition which was one of his major hallmarks in the industry where knowledge was imparted.
