Veteran Actor Akrobeto Unharmed in Konongo Car Crash

Popular Ghanaian actor and comedian, Akwasi Boadi, widely known as Akrobeto, has survived a car accident without injuries.

The incident occurred on Friday, May 23, 2025, in Konongo, a town along the Accra-Kumasi highway in the Ashanti Region. According to reports, Akrobeto was en route to Kumasi when his vehicle was involved in a collision with an articulated truck.

A video circulating online shows significant damage to his car, but fortunately, the veteran entertainer emerged unscathed.

Akrobeto is a beloved figure in Ghana’s entertainment industry, renowned for his roles in numerous Kumawood films. He currently hosts the satirical news segment The Real News on UTV, where his unique blend of humour and commentary has garnered him a wide following.
