Vet officer dies in accident

Wamfie (B/A) Sept. 26,GNA – Andrews Bayuo, a Veterinary Officer in charge of Wamfie community in the Dormaa-East District of Brong-Ahafo on Thursday died mysteriously at the spot when the motor bike on which he was returning to Wamfie collided with an Urvan bus with the registration number BA445X at the outskirt of Wamanafo a nearby town. There incident which occurred around 10:00pm that day had no nobody to witness the incident. Later it was detected that the driver of the bus who survived with several degrees of injuries could not immediately tell the cause of the accident. He has however stated that he was the only occupant of the bus which was returning from Wamanafo to Wamfie. The mortal remains of the deceased person have been deposited at the Dormaa Presbyterian Hospital Mortuary, while the police have held the driver of the bus for further investigations into the case.
