Vehicle in Mahama’s convey involved in accident

Two immigration officers, who were part of President John Dramani Mahama’s convoy en route to Bawku on Monday July 11, were involved in an accident when the vehicle they were travelling in, a pick-up with registration number GR 4534 -10, veered-off the road, ClassFMonline.com has gathered.

There were no casualties in the crash, which occurred at about 5:30pm.

According to an eyewitness, the accident occurred between Bawku and Garu, in the Upper East Region. President Mahama was travelling to the region as part of his Accounting to the People tour.

The two, who sustained minor injuries, were taken to the Bawku Presby Hospital for medical treatment.
