Veep, Mumuni to tour Volta Region

Ho, Nov. 22, GNA – The Volta Region would on Tuesday November 23, play host to Vice President Alhaji Aliu Mahama and Alhaji Muhammad Mumuni, National Democratic Congress (NDC) Presidential Running Mate.

According to a programme released by the Volta Regional Coordinating Council (VRCC), the Vice President’s three-day visit, which ends on Thursday November 25, would focus on the Northern Sector of the Region. He is scheduled to address durbars in the Kete-Krachi Nkwanta, Kadjebi and Jasikan Districts and inaugurate a water supply system at Nkwanta and meet with Chiefs and elders.

Alhaji Mumuni’s, however, would be a day and limited to the Ho-Central and Ho-West Constituencies, where he would address a rally at Ho and pay separate courtesy calls on the Asogli Chiefs and Muslim Chiefs and communities.

According to a programme released by the Regional Secretariat of the NDC, Alhaji Mumuni would also address durbars at Tsito and Abutia-Kloe, where he would also pay courtesy calls on the Chiefs.
