The Vice President, Professor John Atta Mills is in Ethiopia to participate in the 40th Anniversary celebration of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa. Professor Mills who is representing the President will attend a forum of heads of state and government. He is also scheduled to meet the Ethiopian Prime Minister. In a related development, the Speaker of Parliament, Mr. Justice D. F. Annan is also in the La Cote D’Ivoire as special guest at the state opening of the Ivorian parliament. The speaker is accompanied by the majority chief whip and Member of Parliament for Avenor, Mr. Doe Adjaho, Mr. Kojo Armah and Mr. Rex Owusu Ansah, clerk of Parliament. Mr. Anna is to address the Ivorian parliament today and hold talks with President Konan Bedie.
