Veep arrives in Iran for new President’s investiture

Vice President Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur has arrived in Tehran, Iran to attend the inauguration of the new Iranian President.

Amissah-Arthur is accompanied by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Thomas Kwesi Quartey and Deputy Northern regional Minister A.B.A. Fusseini.

Hassan Rouhani will be sworn into office on Sunday, August 4, 2013 as the next President of Iran.

Amissah- Arthur, who is due to return home on Monday, is scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with the President of Iran.
