V/R: Rainstorm displaces hundreds at Dormabin

At least 20 houses have been ripped off by a heavy rainstorm that hit Dormabin, a community in the Krachi East district of the Volta region Tuesday.

The storm which occurred in the night also hit an electricity transmission pole in the area.

Assemblyman for the area, Cornelius Kofi Ampeh told Starr News over one hundred people have been rendered homeless, with properties worth thousands of Cedis destroyed.
