Use talents to produce results.. Apostle Anim

Accra, Feb. 27, GNA – Apostle Joseph Anim, President of the Apostolic Church, Ghana, on Sunday called on Ghanaians, especially Christians to use their talents to the hilt for the economic growth of the country and their well-being. He said, “you have been called for a divine purpose, to use your talents to work out strategies to overcome problems, evolve solutions and be in leadership at achieving results wherever you find yourselves, whether in public or private sector”.

Delivering a sermon in Accra on, “Discover your talent” at a Church service to induct Apostle Julius Komla Senuvie as Vice President of the Church, he said, conditions today demands that every one should do away with laziness, unconstructive criticism and back-biting but rather work towards progress. Apostle Senuvie rose from Assistant Overseer in 1983 to General Secretary in 1998 and was elevated as Vice President in 2004.

Apostle Anim charged them not to burry their God given talents, which He has distributed according to their capabilities, otherwise they could not stand the annoyance of the Almighty during the day of accountability. Apostle Anim, who said they should pray so that they would receive directions as to how to serve their creator and the nation, commended the Vice President for his hard work and respect to authority. A citation read by Pastor J. B. Denson, General Secretary of the Church, said Apostle Senuvie won the admiration of the National Council as a result of his humility, respect for authority and professional skills exhibited from the time he entered the ministry to the present.
