US-based Ghanaian installed chief

Mr. Benjamin Olisa Nathaniel Davies, a Ghanaian domiciled in the United States, was on Tuesday installed Nkosuohen (development chief) of Breman Essiam Traditional Area amid pomp and pageantry.

His stool name is Nana Kweku Asubonteng I.

The 65-year old chief was carried in a palanquin through the principal streets of the town and later swore an oath of allegiance to Odefour Afankwa III, Omanhen of the Traditional Area.

In an address, Nana Asubonteng thanked the chiefs and people of the area for the honour done him and his family and asked God to guide him to meet the expectations of his people.

Odefour Afankwa III congratulated the chief and appealed to him to use his rich diplomatic experience to bring investors to the area.**
