Urinating in public is sub-animal behaviour – Otabil

The Founder of the International Central Gospel Church, Dr. Mensa Otabil, has said urinating in public is sub-animal behaviour.

“The person who urinates by the wall can’t aspire to greatness… because he has reduced himself to animal level,” the ICGC Overseer said in his ‘Living Word’ series on Friday, September 19, 2014 on private FM Station, Joy.

“In this season of elevation, my friend, you can’t behave below animal level… it’s an insult to God who created you,” the renowned motivational Speaker said in his message.

Describing such behaviour as one borne out of a “spirit of devaluation” – one of “four horns” which he said are foibles of humans – Dr Otabil said: “If God thinks you are so precious that he had to shed blood to buy you, then why do you go and urinate on a wall?”

He said it is the same spirit of devaluation that makes people defecate on Ghana’s beaches and also pollute water sources.

According to him, it was the same spirit of devaluation that made Ghana’s forebears in colonial Gold Coast sell their kith to the Whiteman as slaves.

He listed the other “horns” as the spirits of greed, deceit and jealousy.
