UPDATE: Police close to arresting killers of Dutch woman

Police in Ashaiman say they have received very useful information that could lead to the arrest of four armed robbers who shot dead a Dutch volunteer in Sebrepor, near Afienya on Friday afternoon.

The 25-year-old volunteer was with three Dutch and three Romanian nationals who were in the country to conduct a research on child labour when they were attacked by the gang.

Ashaiman Police Divisional Commander, Chief Superintendent David Eklu, is appealing for public support to apprehend the suspects.

He said efforts are also being made to secure the safety of the remaining volunteers.

Meanwhile, Chief Superintendent David Eklu has advised foreigners who come into the country to conduct business to first report to the police.
