Update: Kidnapped YFM presenter found

The police in the Western region have been able to locate and release the kidnapped female presenter of YFM hours after news broke about her predicament.

Ms Ada, also known as Adaese Oda Onyinyechi, is currently receiving treatment at a hospital in Takoradi.

A presenter with Radio Maxx ‘Feeling Daddy’ who was at the hospital told Morning Starr “she is in a good condition but sleeping.”

“I didn’t see any serious bruises on her… the only difference I saw on her is that her dreadlocks have been taken off,” he told Kafui Dey Tuesday.

The General Manager of YFM in Takoradi Franklin Siatey also confirmed her release. “I can say on authority that she has been found. She is currently being treated at the hospital. I’ve not seen her, but I’ll be there.”

Ms Ada is believed to be held by some suspected five rogues. Her kidnappers posted pictures of her being sexually abused by them on social media platforms.
