Unsuccessful thief bailed 30 million cedis

Tema, Jan. 11, GNA — A plumber who broke into a kiosk at Ashaiman old lorry station in the night to steal but was met by the complainant has been granted 30 million cedis’ bail by the Tema circuit court ‘B’. Abubakari Musah pleaded not guilty and will reappear on January 24, 2005.

Chief Inspector Teye Matey, prosecuting, told the court that on January 1 the complainant returned from work at 1900 hours and saw the accused in his kiosk.

Chief Inspector Matey said the complainant raised an alarm and Musah was arrested.
