University of Environmental not collapsing – Okyenhene

The Chancellor of the University of Agriculture and Environmental Studies the Okyenhene Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin has described as falsehood claims that the university is collapsing.

He said although the Akyem Bunso-based university has challenges, it is far from falling part as is being rumored.

The Okyenhene however admitted that financial challenges has been one of the major hurdles confronting the school, noting that he has had to personally support the university from his pocket.

The Overload of the Akyem Abuakwa Kingdom made the comment during the maiden graduation ceremony of the Agric-based University, where a total of 13 students were graduated.

He urged the graduands to go and make impact on the job market with their acquired knowledge.

He said he is confident the university will surmount all the challenges and live to achieve its core objective of training experts in Agriculture and related disciplines.
