Ellembelle (W/R), Oct. 20, GNA – Mr. Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah, the Member of Parliament for Ellembelle and Deputy Energy Minister, has appealed to the chiefs and people of Ellembelle to unite and fight for development of their area.
He said government was not the entire solution to the problems facing the people and that the real solution to the problems was communities needed to develop to enable them overcome their deprivation. He said this after a tour of 10 communities in the district over the weekend to explain government policies as well as interact and know the problems facing the people.
Mr. Buah said government was committed to creating jobs for the people and it would do all it could to ensure that the dream was realised. The District Chief Executive, Mr Daniel K. Eshun thanked the MP for visiting the communities and appealed to him be more frequent to be abreast with their problems.
He therefore pledged the Assembly’s support and to improve the living conditions of the people of Ellembelle.
