Unidentified man found murdered at Bibiani

The body of unidentified man believed to have been murdered, had been found on a plantation behind the Officers’ Mess of the Noble Gold Mining Company at Bibiani.

The deceased body was spotted by some children whilst playing and they raised the alarm.

Superintendent of Police Francis Enor, the Bibiani Commander who confirmed this to the Ghana News Agency (GNA), said the police would do everything to get to the bottom of the murder and bring whoever is involved to justice.

Police Superintendent Enor said the deceased is suspected to be in his early thirties and that his body, which was in an advanced state of decomposition, carried a deep cut on the forehead, heightening their conviction of foul-play.

It has been deposited at the Bibiani Government Hospital for autopsy.
