Unidentified man found dead in Achimota

An unidentified young man believed to be in his thirties, has been found dead this morning, March 28, 2015 in the big gutter at the Achimota train station in Accra.

According to residents, the body of the man was found in the gutter in the wee hours of the morning, around four o’clock am.

The cause of death of this young man is not yet known, but bruises can be found on the neck and back of the deceased.

There are speculations that the deceased may have been killed and dumped in the gutter by some unknown persons.

As at the time of this report, no police had been on the scene to cart the body, nor to begin investigations into the course of death, though the Tesana Police Station is just around the corner.
