Unibank Ghana walks for health

The Tema Community 1 branch of indigenous bank Unibank Ghana over the weekend embarked on a health walk to revitalize the staff of the bank to meet their targets for the rest of the year.

The 15-kilometer walk which was on the theme “walk with us, turn your life around” saw over a 100 workers walking through some principal streets in the Tema metropolis.

Speaking at the event, the Head of Domestic Cooperation at Unibank Samuel Baah Gyettey said the 15-kilometer walk had proven that the bank has a young vibrant workforce that could meet endurance.

“As staff we spend almost all our time in the banking premises so we have taken this opportunity to exercise our bodies to meet our targets because if you exercise you drive all sorts of illness away,” Gyettey said.
