Cape Coast Feb. 23, GNA- Shiabu Adamu, unemployed, was on Wednesday granted 10 million cedis bail with a surety to be justified, for allegedly stealing a goat valued 400,000 cedis belonging to one Mr Kwesi Asafua.

He pleaded not guilty and would reappear on Thursday march 10. Prosecuting Chief Inspector Hope Azasoo told the court, presided over by Mr Beresford Acquah that on February 21 this year, the complainant was informed that someone was seen holding his goat at Kotokuraba.

He said Mr Asafua went to Kotokuraba and saw Adamu holding the goat, and Adamu resisted when he attempted to arrest him, so he raised the alarm and some people came to his aid and after a fierce struggle, Adamu was arrested and taken to the regional police station.
