Unemployed defiles 13 year-old pupil

Accra, Jan. 19, GNA – A 27 year-old unemployed who defiled a 13 year-old pupil has been remanded into police custody by an Accra circuit court. The court, presided over by Justice C.K. Wilson did not take his plea. Akwesi Antwi, formerly a “space to space” service provider at Agape Container, near Ablekuma, lured the girl, who had gone to the area to fetch water, to a nearby bush and then defiled her. The accused warned the girl not to disclose the act to anybody but she told her stepmother who queried her when she saw changes in her manner of walking. When victim’s stepmother examined her private part she saw bruises and she confirmed that Antwi defiled her.
