UK visa applicants to apply online effective June 1

Accra, May 23, GNA – As of June 1, 2011, all visa applicants to the UK will be required to complete their application forms online, a statement from the British High Commission in Accra said on Monday. It said this would be a mandatory requirement and no handwritten application forms will be accepted after this date. “Any appendices to the application forms will still be accepted in handwritten form. Completed application forms should be submitted to the Visa Application Centre in the same way as before,” the statement said. It said full details about the application process, the documents required and the current visa fees may be found on the VFS website: http://vfs-uk-gh.com.
