UK increases visa fee for Kumasi area

Accra, Feb. 24, GNA – The British High Commission announced on Friday that from March 1, 2006 the fee charged by VFS for the handling and submission of a visa application would increase from 10 dollars to 14 dollars.

A statement issued in Accra by the High Commission said this was the first increase in their handling fee since opening their operations in April last year.

“The British High Commission would also like to inform the general public that a new fast-track service has been provided by VFS in Kumasi.”

“From February 6, 2006 applicants who meet the Fast Track criteria will receive a decision on their application within three working days,” the statement said. 24 Feb. 06
