UK-based Rev. minister arrives for “Winning Ways” convention

The Reverend Matthew Ashimolowo, Founder of the London-based Kingsway Christian Centre (KICC), arrived in Accra on Thursday for a 10-day “Winning Ways 2001” conference scheduled for Accra and Kumasi from March 3 to 10.

The Nigerian born Rev Ashimolowo told newsmen at the airport that the main theme of his message to Christians in Ghana would be how to apply God’s wisdom for a break-through in their daily lives. “Africa has seen so many miracles, what is now needed is the miracle of the mind”.

He explained that the miracle of the mind would prevent Christians from encountering problems rather than seeking miracles to solve their problems.

He said God is already performing miracles in Ghana and he is here to let people know about them.

Rev Ashimolowo attributed the upsurge of social vices in Africa to the break down of the middle class leading to a big gap between the rich and the poor. He said miracle of the mind is what is needed to curtail this problem.
