UGCC, Ghanaians In Philly Celebrate Independence Day

Sunday, March 14th, Philadelphia, PA — Ghanaians in Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey gathered at the United Ghanaian Community Church (UGCC) based in Philadelphia, PA to commemorate Ghana’s 47th Independence Day.

The pastor in charge, Rev. Kobina Ofosu-Donkoh (PhD)on behalf of the church expressed his gratefulness to the almighty for another year. He committed our country to God for peace, democracy and good governance. Among the personalities who attended were Mr. Charles Nimmo N. Mensah aka Mr. CNN, Ghanaweb’s award-winning and internationally known cameraman, Mr. Albert Okyere, SIL member and Mr. Stanley Manu, CEO of Stymatic, Inc. We should continue to pray for our economy, peaceful upcoming election and good governance.
