UG Council approves Kufuor Centre for Leadership and Governance

Accra, Aug. 19, GNA – The University of Ghana Council has approved the establishment of John Agyekum Kufuor Centre for Leadership, Governance and Development at the University.

A statement issued in Accra on Friday by Mr J.M. Budu, Registrar of the University said the multi-purpose state-of-the-art edifice, sponsored by the John Agyekum Kufuor Foundation, was an initiative of Former President Kufuor.

The centre to be comprised of appropriate facilities befitting the status of a Presidential Centre of international repute is expected to complement academic programmes being run by the University.
