Flagbearer of the United front Party, Dr. Nana Agyenim Boateng aka Gyataba says his party will give more attention to Rice production and put up irrigation dams across the country.
He says the party will demacate strategic areas to implement this strategy.
Speaking to Kessbenfm.com, he added that the nation currently produces what he termed tropical rice which is more nutritious but lacks support to produce effectively.

Gyataba says these irrigations will have 2 purposes ; rearing of fishes and farming.
The UFP flagbearer says starch processing plant must be put up in all regions since cassava is very essential in every aspect of our daily lives. He sited the Central, Northern,Western and Ashanti regions as areas which need these factories.
“I suggest the Agric ministry must be in one’s of these region for decentralization purposes”
“This may sound big and an impossibility to many..but I tell you, this is practically possible.,unlike one-village one-dam which looks more like a ‘future impossible tense’ he said.
