UFP elects new regional executives

‘ Takoradi, Oct.30,GNA-The United Front Party (UFP) on Saturday elected new regional executives to steer the affairs of the Party in the Western Region at a meeting in Takoradi.

In all, 14 people were elected unopposed to various positions to pursue the Party victory agenda in the 2012 polls.

Mr. Osei Agyen was elected unopposed as chairman, Ben Fodah,1st vice chairman, Emmanuel Baah Boateng, 2nd vice chairman and Eric Ennin, 3rd vice chairman.

Others include; Lawyer K. Gyamfi, secretary, Issakah Mahama, organizer and Theresah Buckman, Women’s organizer.

Mr. Benjamin Bio, Western Regional Deputy Director of the Electoral Commission (EC), supervised the elections and charged the elected executives to work towards entrenching democracy in the Party and the country at large.
