The Upper West Regional Secretariat of the United Cadres Front (UCF) has congratulated Mr. Matthew Sung-Aabu on his election as Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the Region.
Similarly, the Secretariat extended its congratulations to all those who won various positions during the elections and urged them to stand solidly behind the new Chairman to build an impenetrable party for the future.
In a statement issued and signed by UCF’s Regional Chairman, Mr. Ben N. Banye, assured Mr. Sung-Aabu and the rest of the newly elected executives that the UCF would put its network of experience both at the constituency and Regional levels to build a vibrant party towards the 2016 elections.
The statement also congratulated those who lost the election especially the four who missed the Chairmanship race for the competitive and democratic spirit displayed by them on the day of the election.
“We called on them to keep aside the past and rally their supporters and energies behind the new Chairman and the rest of the executives to build a strong party to neutralize the hungry opposition in the 2016 Presidential and Parliamentary elections,” the statement concluded.
