Two Schools To Be Upgraded

The Krachi Senior Secondary School, (KRASEC), and the Adidome Senior Secondary have been selected for upgrading unto first class secondary schools in the Volta Region.

The programme forms part of the initiative to upgrade a secondary school in each district to provide easy access to quality education for rural dwellers.

The two schools are among the seven selected so far in the country under the first phase of the initiative of the government.

The District Chief Executive for Krachi, Mr. Joseph Ntoso, made this known in an address at a meeting of the Kete Krachi District Assembly at Kete Krachi.

He said the assembly will allocate ?90 million towards a sponsorship package for students from the district, pursuing courses in post-secondary institutions.
