Winneba (C/R), Feb. 7, GNA – Two women who were involved in last Saturday’s car accident at Gyatekrom and were referred to the 37 Military hospital in Accra unconscious have died, according to a police source.
The deceased are Madam Felicia Abena Kwankyewa from Assin Praso in the Central Region and Mrs. Hagar Baidoo from Accra, whose three-year old girl was among those who died on the spot.
Mr. Nicholas Gasu, Winneba District Police Commander told the Ghana News Agency on Monday than 10 passengers who suffered various degree of injury were responding to treatment.
According to the Police Commander, most of the victims were from the Assin Area.
