Two killed in accident at Suhum

Two people were killed on the spot and several others sustained injuries when the bus on which they were travelling collided with a petrol tanker at Asuboi near Suhum at the weekend.

One of the deceased was identified as Louis Agyeman, a 39- year-old farmer, from Akyeansa.

According to police sources, the bus was travelling from Accra to Suhum whiles the tanker was from Kumasi heading to Accra.

The tanker driver was said to be overtaking a vehicle when it collided with the bus.

The bodies of the deceased have been deposited at the Suhum Government Hospital mortuary and the injured are on admission at the same hospital.
