Two granted bail for conniving to kill

Mampong Akwapem (E/R), March 18, GNA – The Mampong Akwapem Magistrate court on Monday granted a 5,000 GH cedis bail each to two suspects who allegedly condoned and connived with some land-guards to kill three farmers of Adamorobe near Aburi. They were charged with conspiracy to kill. The two who pleaded not guilty are Kwaku Osei, 31, a photographer and Joseph Quaye, driver.

The farmers are Samuel Adin, Ohene Moses and Henry Darko all of Adamorobe.

Prosecuting Police Inspector Simon Doe Glogah told the court presided over by Mrs Gloria A. Anyasombe that the accused persons were arrested on the December 12, 29007 at Adamorobe. The prosecuting officer said they would reappear before the court on the April 7, 2008 for court hearing.
