Two farmers jailed for stealing a sheep

Mankranso (Ash), Dec 8, GNA – Two farmers who conspired and stole a sheep valued at 90,000 cedis belonging to Nana Yaa Asantewaa, Queenmother of Biemso Number Two have been jailed.

They pleaded guilty before the Mankranso District magistrate court and Issaka Bayor will serve 18 months in jail term whiles his accomplice, Salifu Aliu, will also serve a 12-month prison term. Police Inspector Abraham Agyei-Mensah told the court that the two stole the animal belonging one Nana Asantewaa and sold it.
