Two electrocuted Sunyani East Constituency NPP supporters buried

Two supporters of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Sunyani East constituency of the Brong Ahafo region who were electrocuted to death at Abesim while hanging banners of the party have been buried.

Shani Kumi 31 and Maxwell Kyereme 23 were hanging banners of the parliamentary candidate of the area and the flagbearer of the party Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo when they got electrocuted.

Two others including a worker of a private company contracted to brand the party in the Brong Ahafo region, were also reported to be in critical condition but were rushed to the Sunyani Government Hospital where they have since been treated and discharged.

National Youth Organizer of the NPP Sammy Awuku, was among mourners to commiserate with the bereaved families.
