Two drivers of Metro Mass remanded in police custody

Accra, Nov.24, GNA – Two drivers and a bus conductor of the Metro Mass Transport Limited arrested for allegedly issuing used tickets, have been remanded in police custody by the Madina Magistrate Court to reappear on November 28.

The pleas of Etse Fie, bus conductor, Kwadwo Asante and Christian Agyare both drivers were not taken.

Police Chief Inspector Hormenu told the court presided over by Mrs. Beatrice Darko that the three accused persons were arrested by the Management of the company on November 13 and 18, this year, allegedly issuing used tickets to unsuspecting passengers and were handed over to the Madina Police for investigations.
