Two die in motor accident

Kwanfinfi (Ash) Aug. 21, GNA – Two women were killed and 31 others injured, when a Mercedes Benz bus on which they were travelling was involved in an accident at Kwanfinfin on the Kumasi Bibiani road. Seven of the injured, whose condition is critical, were rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH), where they are on admission. Those with minor injuries received treatment at the Nkawie Government Hospital.

Police Superintendent Samuel Aloredey, the Nyinahin District Commander told the Ghana News Agency that the bus was travelling from Kumasi to Biabiani, when on reaching a spot near Kwanfinfin, the driver lost control of the vehicle, veered off the road, and landed in a valley.

The Police Commander said the bodies of the dead had been deposited at the Bibiani Government Hospital’s Morgue.
