Two charged for murdering a 14-year-old Pupil

Asamankese, Aug. 25, GNA – The Asamankese Circuit Court, has remanded two men into prison custody for allegedly murdering a 14-year-old pupil, Ama Peprah.

Kwame Adjei and Ben Amponsah whose pleas were not taken would reappear on September 1.

Prosecuting, Police Chief Inspector G. D. Bruce, told the crowded Court, presided over by Mr S. S. Appiah, that at about 2100 hours in June, this year, Kwame asked the victim to accompany him to an unknown destination and that was the last time she was seen alive.

He said the body of Ama was discovered in a thicket on July 21, at Darmang.

Chief Inspector Bruce said preliminary investigations showed that the two accused persons had knowledge about the death of the girl leading to their arrest.
