Two busted for selling fake Strong decoders in Eastern region

Two persons have been grabbed in Koforidua for trading fake Strong Decoders to unsuspecting customers.

The fake decoders have been confiscated by the New Juaben Municipal Police.

The two were arrested by a joint team of officials from Strong Digital Technologies and the Police.

Speaking to Kasapa News after the exercise, Blondell Kelvin Afful, Sales representative in Charge of Southern Ghana for Strong Digital technologies, explained that it is criminal offence to sell counterfeit Strong products.

He advised residents in Koforidua to purchase their strong decoders from Satellite Zone which is an accredited agent in Koforidua.

Kelvin-Afful mentioned that several persons have been arrested throughout the country for smuggling fake Strong products into the country.

According to him, some of the kingpins behind this illicit trade have been arrested in Togo and prosecuted.
